1. About Mateo Castillio
Mateo Castillio is a fictional character, created and guided by a human creative team. Mateo is not a biological human. All personality, biography, correspondence, and likeness are fictional. No real person is depicted or implied.
2. Entertainment purpose
All content — journal entries, letters, correspondence, and media — is provided for entertainment purposes only. It is not professional advice. It is not therapy, coaching, medical advice, financial advice, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified professional. Mateo's letters should not be relied upon for decision-making of any kind.
3. Membership
The Founding Correspondent membership is a recurring subscription billed monthly at the founding rate of $39/month. The founding rate is held while you remain continuously subscribed. The standard rate will be $59/month. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Founding capacity is limited to 25 members.
4. Correspondence
Mateo aims to write one personalized letter per week. Reply times may vary. The conversation carries forward based on your correspondence history. We do not guarantee specific content, frequency, or response times, but strive to provide a meaningful experience.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the correspondence for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes. You agree not to attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or republish Mateo's letters or underlying outputs. You may not share, reproduce, or distribute letter content without permission.
6. Intellectual property
All content — journal entries, letters, correspondence, images, shop products, branding, and code — is owned by the Mateo Castillio project or its licensors. You retain ownership of what you write to Mateo, but grant us a license to use it solely to generate replies and operate the correspondence.
7. Shop
Physical products are sold as collectibles. Returns and refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for any issue with a physical order.
8. Adult content
This project includes a premium social destination with 18+ content accessible through an external link. All depicted persons are adults. Access to 18+ content is restricted to adults 18 and over. By accessing that content, you confirm you are of legal age.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the preceding 12 months.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to active members by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
